Typical work-out clothes is suitable for your trial class. If you have workout pants (as opposed to shorts) those are preferred.

I have had no prior experience in the martial arts. Will I be comfortable in your class?

Prior experience isn't required or expected in any class. All classes are taught at a level suitable to the people participating.

I already have prior experience in another martial arts system, how will I be treated?

We firmly believe that all knowledge has value. Many students here enter with prior experience, and all such students are encouraged to use their past knowledge.

A lot of martial arts schools have contracts. If I sign up and change my mind, what is your contract like, and how can I get out of it?

We are against standard contracts seen in most martial arts schools. If you decide to take a break from training, notify us in writing before you are billed and you won’t be charged.

Do I need to buy a uniform or other gear when I start?

Not when you start. To earn rank in Kajukenbo each student needs to purchase a complete uniform (t-shirt plus pants) before testing.
