Each class at Tactical Kung Fu is 60-90 minutes long, and is broken in to three sections of approximately equal length. The first third of the class is spent on warm-ups and basic exercises related to the theme at hand. The second part of class focuses on didactic drilling. The final third of each class is spent on sparring and related drills.
There are two types of classes offered in our program. General Wu Hun Dao/Kajukenbo classes teach a wide range of material, focusing on the integration of striking, grappling, and weapons work, and ensuring that students learn the materials needed for each belt rank.Specialty classes (such as our Tai Chi, Feng Xiao Zhang, stick & knife fighting, and BJJ classes), focus on a specific art, and delve into more detail in those areas.
